Rick Barkley is the Cofounder and President of the East Africa Metamorphosis Project. After visiting Uganda and witnessing first hand the devastation extreme poverty, disease, and war has wreaked in the region he knew it was impossible to sit idly by and do nothing. Rick has been working with various nonprofits for over 8 years, and has earned his MBA from Regis University and his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Texas State University. He is married and has 3 wonderful children who he wishes were old enough to accompany him on his many trips to East Africa.
Brannon Morrison, having spent a majority of his life residing in lesser developed countries, has long desired to aid in their development. He has earned a BA in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Area Studies from the University of Oklahoma and a MSc in Developmental Economics and Policy from the University of Manchester, UK. Brannon currently works for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Steve Barkley and his family are the owners of Pflugerville TaeKwonDo Plus. After receiving a BSBA from San Jose State University, Steve spent many years in management positions in the high tech industry. He and his wife, Tammy, have been married for 31 years and have six boys that they are very proud of. They have served as third grade Sunday school teachers for 14 years and have also been the central Texas area coordinators for Junior Bible Quiz. He has served on the deacon board at his church. Steve believes that we all have a God given responsibility to help those in unfortunate situations and is honored to serve as part of the East African Metamorphosis Project.
